So we thought of a safari and there is a safari! that is how we think about it. We wanted to see for ourselves the African paradise that has made many a frequent visitor and made many travelers talk like crazy about the place. Luxury vacation destinations are of course part of the deal without it I doubt if I can pull any of my friends and family to come with me.
After a few months of preparation and talking to our agency and all the necessary things to do. W all flew off to this place called paradise- Namibia. Besides seeking a luxurious treat we also wanted to mix it with a little thrill that could make our hairs stand up for a little; well seeing a lion charge our vehicle did not make our hair stand but made our heart stop a bit. We all shouted with fear and mixed emotions with the incident but that another story to tell.
Let me tell you about the Skeleton Coast National Park in Namibia. It was a good side trip for our african luxury destinations. The place draw to the tourist is its almost dangerous heaven like beauty. If you are alone in the area you fill as if there is no more besides the very soil you stand on. The countless ship wreck is a proof of the hundreds of story of nature versus man and of course nature has always won. The beach is a colorful collection of stones and granites, agates and lava.
One african vacation spot that I dreamed of building a few cottages so that people can enjoy it but the fact that the geology of the place made it so impossible for one man to do it. Sand dunes abound in the area and are dangerous to both man and beast.

Malolotja Nature Reserve is like royalty in the sense that it has very beautiful african wildlife safaris. The mere color of the soil will attract you; I really do not know if the other parts of Africa have the same kind of soil texture and color but in Swaziland it was so beautiful. I was not accustomed to the silence that met me for a zambia african safari. The quietness of the place made me doubt my resolve in coming in here. Yes my visit to Lochinvar National Park has started and what i thought was a lame replacement of city became a burning adventure that only the courageous can take.
Though, the Lochinvar National Park is of exceptional beauty it has less encounter of huge mammals and animals. But the outstanding display of pride and skills of the 450 birds in the area took my breath away.
One ornithologist under the shadow of hundreds of birds as they flew together up into the air is a dream come true. I could not help but take pictures of those stunning creature. I know each one of them. I know how they live. The Story of an African Safari

I had no proper sleep for two months now due to a project presentation. It was not a mere project presentation proposal for it cost billions of dollars and its fate lies in my hand. Should I say that it is an opportunity to be in the project! But two months is so short for the preparation but too long for the hard toil of the body.
Now, it seems that my body would not cooperate and does not want tot sleep. With that condition, I decided to go to an african holiday. I couldn’t care less about the big five and the cabins. What I knew that I have been given a free package for it and I want to give it a try and shake off the stress.
The africa holiday packages includes a river cruise in one of the famous Chobe National park, game viewing and a night of camping at the Okavango Delta. But who could appreciate with a tired body, mind and soul.
I was summoned to our room and everybody seems so excited with the activities except me. I tried to rest and sleep for the night but I could not. I tried to join them in their african safari holidays activities but i could not. I just want to sleep.
I was served the most delicious and nutritious American breakfast the next day. Which made me wonder if indeed I am already in Africa or back in the US?
Still I am restless and exhausted for I spent a restless night. So, I decided to pass for the day and went back to my room and opened the balcony. A beautiful white hammock greeted me and as if beckoning me to try it. I wondered if it is included in the africa holiday packages, I bemused.
For seven days, the hammock became my refuge and the endless horizontal scenery became my companion. The lost sleep and the lost energy is now back. Thank you for this beautiful hammock.
